News Flash: The implementation Time of India's BIS New standards has been postponed
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recently issued a notice stating that the mandatory implementation date of the new standard for uninterruptible power supply systems, IS 16242 (Part 1): 2025 /IEC 62040-1:2017 + AMD1:2021 + AMD2:2022 CSV, has been changed from the originally scheduled November 19, 2025. The implementation details for the update of other standards will remain unchanged until November 19, 2026.
